A group of students studying at the bachelor's level in the "Radio Engineering and Telecommunications" specialty of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have visited the "Radio-Television Broadcasting and Satellite Communications" Production Union ("Teleradio" PU).
During the excursion, which was led by the professor of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy, Doctor of Technical Sciences Islam Islamov, the students were introduced to the fields of terrestrial analog radio broadcasting (FM), digital radio broadcasting (DAB+), terrestrial digital television broadcasting (DVB-T/T2), satellite broadcasting of radio and television programs (DVB-S/S2), digital radio communication, organization of satellite communication, Up-link service, IP TV service, antenna-feeder systems, etc., as well as the provision of technical service to equipment. The students, who had the opportunity to communicate with specialists, received information about their knowledge and experience in this field and listened to their recommendations.
The head of the Baku Teletower Radio and Television Broadcasting Station Bahruz Mursalov also provided the students with extensive information about radio and television broadcasting and satellite communications. It was brought to their attention that, based on the instructions and opinions of the relevant state bodies of Azerbaijan, regular measures are being taken by the “Teleradio” PU to ensure the security of the airspace in the country, as well as the restoration of broadcasts from the Shusha, Minjivan, Khanlig, Shahyeri and Lachin stations in our liberated territories, and local broadcasts are being provided in the Kalbajar district center.
During the excursion, questions of interest to the students were clarified.
