A group of students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) majoring in transport service have gone on an excursion to the Baku International Sea Trade Port under the guidance of Ali Gocayev, a teacher of the Department of Logistics and Transport Technologies.

The employees of the port, Javidan Karimli, Siraj Talibov and Orkhan Talibzada, introduced the students to the safety rules, as well as the importance of using the green and red zones, personal protective equipment in certain areas, and the necessary measures in case of any emergency that may occur. The history of the port, directions of activity and future development, performed operations were brought to the students' attention, and their questions were answered in detail.

Within the framework of the excursion, in accordance with the contract concluded between the Baku International Sea Trade Port and the university, satisfaction was expressed with the effective cooperation in the areas of industrial experience programs, organizing seminars, and employment of graduates. Moreover, issues of increasing students' activity in recruitment contests were emphasized.
