Under the guidance of Assoc.Profs. of the Mechanical Engineering Department Rauf Mammadov and Bakhtiyar Namazov, students had an industrial internship at the Absheron Logistics Center.

Extensive information was provided to the 2nd and 3rd year students of Logistics and Transport Engineering Deparment. They got acquainted with the administrative building, territory, warehouses, machinery and equipment used during the work process, modern infrastructure facilities of the center. An opportunity was created for the students to review the necessary paperwork used in logistical processes, and the questions of the students' interest were answered.

Since the academic year, 2017-2018 student admission is realized at BEU in the speciality "Logistics and transport technologies" in Azerbaijani and Russian sections. The most up-to-date information technologies, modern scientific-practical and technical literature and other visual aids are used in the education process. Along with the specific courses, teaching courses such as transport law, ecology of transportation, transportation insurance, customs helps students to become experts in these areas as well. It should be noted that material and technical base, scientific and academic staff, educational and methodological opportunities, contacts with companies, international relations are available at BEU for the training of highly qualified specialists. High perspectives were established at BEU for the youth who desire to be highly-qualified specialists in this field.
