BEU students to develop innovative projects in cooperation with Google

 The new head of the Developer Student Clubs (DSC) of Google - Baku Engineering University (BEU) has been elected for the next year. Thus, from the 2022/2023 academic year, Natavan Pashazada, a fourth-year student of Computer Engineering Department of BEU, will lead the club.

The club will operate within the Science and innovation department of the university. Owing to DSC, students will be able to create a cooperative relationship between their educational center and Google, as well as to develop further by working on themselves, thereby making a great contribution to their careers. During its operation, DSC will serve students to gain new skills and knowledge in their fields. Moreover, various local experts, foreign experts are also expected to be involved in this process.

Of note, Google DSC is a program created by the Developer Student Clubs and organized for students. The leadership of the club is appointed for a period of one year. During this period, the leader and the club formed by the leader must work on new projects and implement innovative measures. Team members are selected from among students studying either technical or non-technical majors. Programmers are mainly preferred during selection. According to the terms, the clubs must present their innovative solutions to Google at the end of this year. Furthermore, one of the main requirements for clubs is to actively organize an event (seminar, webinar, etc.) at least once a month with specialists or among their own team.
