Tahira Salayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration at Baku Engineering University (BEU), and a group of the University students have attended a meeting with startuppers preparing for the 2022 Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge.
More than 20 third-year students of BEU Departments of Business Administration and Public Administration (English) will be represented in the competition and will compete in teams.
The project country manager Elnur Aliyev made an opening speech and gave information about the project and its goals at the meeting held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Later, the activities of the EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal and the winning projects were discussed. Furthermore, after an initial analysis of the ideas, an explanation of the terms of the award and the competition, discussions were held among the mentors.
Moreover, students from CAERC volunteers, who won the competition last year with the Stork and Greenbomb projects, supported the startuppers.
At the end, the students' questions were answered.
Of note, the project coordinator for BEU is Tahira Salayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration.
The competition is implemented for the initiation of the British Council within the framework of cooperation between CAERC and the University of Newcastle, United Kingdom.
