3 students of the Faculty of Engineering of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have been the winner of the scholarship program "The future will come with educated girls!".
Within the framework of the joint organization of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency ("Technest" scholarship program) and the "ARI" International Language and Examination Center, the scholarship program intended for fourth-year students and bachelor's graduates in information technology majors aims to support their studies abroad at the master's level.
About 200 applications were received for the scholarship program. Among the 13 people who successfully passed the selection stages, there were 3 students of BEU. Two of the successful BEU students - Surabayim Shikhaliyeva is studying information technologies (IV year course, Azerbaijani language department), and Jala Hashimli is studying computer engineering (IV year course, English language department). Another winner, Nazrin Salimzada, is a graduate of BEU majoring in computer engineering (English department).
The dean of the Faculty of Engineering of BEU, associate professor Huseyn Mirzayev participated in the award ceremony of the winners held at the "ARI" International Language and Examination Center.
It should be noted that the scholarship program covers directions such as obtaining relevant international language certificates by participating in courses in German or English at the "ARI" International Language and Examination Center, as well as making applications to prestigious foreign higher education institutions and receiving acceptance letters.
