Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have got a chance to participate in the project entitled "Business Education for Engineers". The main goal of the project is to develop leadership and management skills and increase career opportunities for students majoring in engineering.
The opening ceremony of the program was held in connection with the admission of successful students in the project. The ceremony was attended by Gulchohra Ibrahimova, Director of the Department on work with enterprises and career.
The next course of the project, jointly organized by Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and BP, will be conducted in English. Along with BHOS students, other university students majoring in engineering in Azerbaijan will also be able to benefit from the project.
In total, more than 300 applications were received from various universities and 80 students were admitted to the program.
By joining the project, students will get the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in business. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, exchange experiences and discuss with leading representatives of BP and other multinational companies. At the end of the program, participants will be awarded certificates.
It should be noted that the trainings will be organized online.
