Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have successfully completed their pedagogical and production internships for the 2018/2019 academic year. The total number of undergraduate students sent form the Faculties of Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, as well as Translation (English) Departments for internships was 442, and the number of those sent for pedagogical internship was 325.
Students majoring in Engineering anf Economics were in the production internship at Milli Majlis, Asan Service, Absheron District Executive Power, SOCAR, State Translation Center, Kapital Bank, Gilan Holding, Sumgayit Technology Park, NSP Solutions LLC, Veyseloglu LLC, Ram LTD, Azmarketing LLC, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank , Azersun Holding LLC, Novo Solution LTD, Aztelekom LLC, Nurgun Holding, Azertechnoline LLC, Pasha Holding, Big four companies (Deloitte, KPMG, Erenest and Young), Azgranata LLC, Azercell Telecom LLC and Koblenz University in Germany.
Students of the pedagogical faculty underwent pedagogical intership at the lyceum named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, European Azerbaijan School, Azerbaijan British College, XXI Century International Education and Innovation Center, Zirve Lyceum and secondary schools in Khirdalan.
55 graduate students from the Departments of Public Sector Management, International Economic Relations, Financial Management, Business Administration, Economics and Administration of Production and Service Sectors (industrial orientation) participated in the scientificresearch and scientific-pedagogical internships in the fall semester, while 51 graduate students from the Departments of Environmental Protection and Rational Use of Natural Resources, Computer Engineering, IT Managementi, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry and Technology of Basic Organic Synthesis, International Relations and Diplomacy in the spring semester.
The internship of students of higher education institutions is regulated by the regulation No. 221 approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 19, 2008. The main task of the internship is to strengthen, deepen the theoretical knowledge acquired by students and ensure its use in further work. Production and pedagogical internships are carried out on the basis of bilateral internship agreements concluded between the university and companies, lyceums and schools.
The organization of internship programs for the 2019-2020 academic year has begun. Thus, meetings are held with many institutions, organizations and schools.
