Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have succeeded in the XIII Republican Student Creative Festival "Student Spring" initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Thus, in the online selection stage of the festival, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of BEU Nigar Asadova took the second place in the nomination of national dances (solo), 4th year student of the Faculty of Pedagogy Elmira Abdurahmanova was awarded the third place in the pop music nomination.

The main purpose of the festival is to develop student creative teams, to organize the exchange of young people between the clubs operating in higher education institutions. Moreover, the festival aims to improve the system of aesthetic education of students, identify creative and talented young people, increase state care for them, strengthen efforts to effectively organize their leisure time, create conditions for new communication and contacts.

The gala concert of the festival, organized annually by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as the Student Youth Organizations’ Union of Azerbaijan, will be held on May 29 this year in a different format.
