5 students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) (Lala Aghayeva - chemical engineering major, Shahsuvar Asadzada - mechanical engineering major, Emil Alizada - electrical engineering major, Tajir Hashimov - chemical engineering major, Orkhan Abdinli - chemical engineering major) have successfully completed the "Power of Tomorrow" Development Program by Sumgait Technologies Park LLC. Among them, Orkhan Abdinli and Lala Aghayeva obtained the international ECITB certificate during the program.
On the "Graduate Day", the management of STP Group of Companies, the rector of BEU Yagub Piriyev and the rectors of a number of higher education institutions delivered their congratulations to the graduates and wished them success in their future professional activities.
The management of the STP Group of Companies, in turn, presented letters of thanks to the heads of higher education institutions that provided support within the framework of the program.
The program, implemented for the first time in the country since 2023, aims to improve the professional development of young people studying in the field of engineering in the direction of industrial engineering. "Power of Tomorrow" aimed at strengthening the country's personnel potential and training young specialists in line with modern challenges is being implemented with the aim of supporting the development of young people.
The young people who have successfully completed the program got a job opportunity in different companies of STP, as well as in other large companies operating in the industrial field in our country.
It should be noted that a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Education Development Fund and STP within the framework of the event. The document was signed by Elnur Nasibov, Chairman of the Board of Education Development Fund, and Hijran Valehov, Chief Executive Director of STP. The memorandum envisages the establishment of cooperation on programs and projects aimed at the development of the education system, as well as the implementation of a long-term scholarship program for female students.
