Baku Engineering University (BEU) students Allahverdi Heydarov and Oruj Safarzada have become the winners of the “Red Hearts Education Scholarship” program implemented within the framework of the joint cooperation of the Education Development Foundation and the Red Hearts Foundation.

A total of 306 first-year undergraduate students of higher education institutions applied for the program, which is a social support program for students. During the selection process, 69 candidates were selected based on the university admission score of over 600, as well as academic performance and a letter of motivation. At this stage, the candidates were asked questions about their goals, student activities, and social status, and in the end, 23 people were awarded the title of program winner.

Among the winners, Allahverdi Heydarov and Oruj Safarzada were admitted to the “Computer Engineering” specialty of the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies of BEU with 604.4 points, and  “Information Security” specialty of the same faculty with 620 points, accordingly.

Each winner of the program will receive a monthly scholarship of 200 manats.
