BEU students attended meeting with Matthew Bryza

Amil Abdullayev, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the University students attended a meeting organized by the Youth Union of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) with former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza on "Anniversary of the Patriotic War: Development and Prospects after the War".

The meeting was attended by members of the NAP Youth Union and active youth.

The moderator of the meeting, which took place in a video conference format, was a member of the NAP Youth Union Anastasia Lavrina.

Chairman of the NAP Youth Union Bakhtiyar Islamov made an opening speech. He spoke about the unity of the Azerbaijani people in the 44-day Patriotic War around the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as the victory achieved by the invincibility of the Azerbaijani army.

Then Matthew Bryza informed about his activities during his tenure as ambassador to Azerbaijan. The former ambassador also shared his views on the political and economic prospects in the region during the post-conflict period, the development of the peace process in the region and the steps to be taken to accelerate this proces.

The meeting, which was broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the YAP and the NAP Youth Union, continued with answering questions from the participants.
