Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have participated in a scientific-practical seminar and training on cryptography with the participation of relevant specialists from 14 higher education institutions organized by the Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan (AKTA).
The trainings were held in English language at Azerbaijan Technical University with the support of Turkish company "Unifybytes", which is a member of AKTA, for students studying information security major in higher educational institutions of the country by foreign experts.
At the end of the training, which was attended by the students under the leadership of Gulbicha Zahidova, a teacher of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies of BEU, a "CTF competition" was held in the field of cryptography with the participation of 56 students/cadets representing 14 higher education institutions.
Teams of 4 students solved the tasks given on various topics in the field of cryptography within 3 hours.
At the end of the competition, AKTA management and invited guests presented certificates to the winners and training participants.
