BEU student to compete with representatives of 54 countries in London

  “Azerbaijan Public Speaking Competition” which is a partner of the “The English-Speaking Union” holding the biggest public speaking competition of the world continues its activities successfully. The platform having carried out different several public speaking competitions and educational projects up to now conducted the Junior Public Speakers Conference. The main goal of the conference was to gather the best public speakers in the country, to give them a chance to express their ideas. Moreover, introducing the demand of the 21st century -  opportunities of public speaking in different spheres like career, personal branding and business through panel discussion held with the participation of the professional, international speakers was among the objectives of the conference.

   At the conference the 10 public speakers’ speeches on the topic “The best way to predict the future is to invent it” were accepted by everybody with interest and evaluated by the jury. The 3 best public speakers in Azerbaijan were determined.

    First place was taken by Adil Gafarli, a student of Baku Engineering University, and he entitled to represent Azerbaijan in the final stage. Adil Gafarli will visit London on May 13-17, 2019 to compete with representatives of 54 countries for becoming the best speaker in the world.

   To note that, APSC also cooperates with “Public Speakers Association” PSA of the USA.  The “International Public Speakers” conference held in different countries of the world every year brings together corporative employees, company leaders, public speakers, and business leaders. The persons selected from Azerbaijan participate at the conference.
