Baku Engineering University (BEU) fourth-year student Leyla Mammadli, majoring in "Computer Sciences," has participated in Huawei's international "Seeds for the Future 2025" program.
As one of the 10 selected students, she earned the right to represent Azerbaijan in the program held in China's Dongguan and Shenzhen cities.
Students from 13 different countries participated in the program. Participants attended training sessions on 5G, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies, and visited Huawei's headquarters and other advanced enterprises.
During the "Culture Day" event, the BEU student promoted Azerbaijani culture by performing the song "Çırpınırdı Qara dəniz." Azerbaijan's Ambassador to China, Bunyad Huseynov, also participated in the event.
It should be noted that before the program launch, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport with participants representing our country. During this meeting, which was also attended by Angela Lin, Huawei's Vice President for the Middle East and Central Asia, Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov stated that the program serves as a good platform for enhancing students' technical knowledge and skills, and wished them success.
