Lamiya Rahimova, a graduate of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been directly admitted to the National University of Singapore (Majoring in Material science and engineering) at the doctoral level from her bachelor's degree and won a full scholarship.

After working as a research engineer for 1 year, L. Rahimova will start her PhD studies. The amount of the scholarship (4 years) earned by the BEU student is 136,550 US dollars.

The BEU graduate was also selected as a participant of the "2022-2026 State Program for Young People to Study in Prestigious Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries" (Edinburgh University) and received a job offer from Halliburton.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, L. Rahimova, who entered the Chemical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of BEU (in English) with 630 points, graduated with an average success rate of 94.71 and an honors diploma.
