Leyla Rustamova, a first-year master's student majoring in "Environmental Protection and Efficient Use of Natural Resources" at Baku Engineering University (BEU), has won the essay competition titled "Soul of Lachin" held among higher education institutions.
The competition was organized jointly by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lachin city, the Ministry of Science and Education, Baku Slavic University (BSU), and the Interstate Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS Member States.
The competition winners were awarded within the framework of a conference on "Azerbaijan's New Development Concept and National Identity" held at BSU in connection with "Victory Week." Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov presented the respective certificates to the winners.
BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev met with Leyla Rustamova, the first-place winner, congratulated her, and wished her success in her studies.
