BEU starts the academic year with some innovativeness

Baku Engineering University (BEU) is entering the 2020/2021 academic year with a number of innovations.

Thus, for the first time in the new academic year, BEU and Inha University of South Korea will implement a dual degree program in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. In addition, free Korean language courses will be organized at the Khirdalan Sejong Institute at BEU from September this year.

In the current academic year, the university created new specialties such as Information Security, Radio Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering, Transport Service (by mode of transport). In general, 15 new specialties that are most in demand in the current labor market have been created at BEU recently, and the university has wide prospects, opportunities, scientific and pedagogical staff for teaching these specialties.

The university also intends to implement a number of new projects in order not to reduce the interest of students in education in the current pandemic.

Along with the above, work is underway to strengthen the material and technical base of the university. BEU's state-of-the-art laboratories and individual auditoriums were equipped with new equipment, new smart boards, monoblocks, computers, laptops, projectors, multifunctional printers, etc. equipment was purchased.

Moreover, the construction of a new educational building of the university is nearing completion.

It should be noted that BEU has all the conditions for students to live. The University has two large dormitories for boys and girls, which meet the most modern requirements. Strengthening the material and technical base of these dormitories is always in focus.

In the coming period, work will be intensified to ensure that students studying at BEU find a job in the labor market, as well as to develop the relationship between production and human resources, and new projects will be implemented in this regard. Cooperation with influential private and public institutions will continue on a new level in order to determine the internships of university students and provide jobs for graduates.

It is planned to intensify the activities of BEU student clubs in the current pandemic. It should be noted that BEU is one of the leading universities in the country in terms of the number of student clubs (49 student clubs) and the diversity of student activities.
