Important steps are being taken to establish cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and well-known universities of Kazakhstan. Thus, a preliminary agreement was reached to start cooperation and sign bilateral memoranda within the framework of the "QS World University Rankings" system.
Therefore, Sevil Imanova, director of the Strategy and Quality Management Center of BEU, who is on a academic trip to Kazakhstan, held useful meetings in a number of universities.
Bilateral cooperation was discussed in detail in the meetings with Dametken Turekulova, vice-president for educational and scientific affairs of Esil University, and Elmira Zadanova, head of the international relations department. Moreover, international projects serving the development of regional cooperation were reviewed together with Bobur Sobirov, professor of Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan, and Mohammad Tanzil Multazam, representative of Muhammadiyah Sidoarko University of Indonesia.
During the visit, meetings were also organized at Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, one of the well-known institutions of higher education in Kazakhstan. The head of the international relations department of the university Altın Kiyasheva exchanged views on teacher and student exchange, dual diploma programs, as well as future directions of cooperation in other fields.
