During and after the 44-day Patriotic War, the staff of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have carried out numerous aid campaigns in the frontline. A joint group called "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" was established to expand assistance as well as to work as a wider team.
Food, clothing and necessities were delivered to our soldiers in Murovdagh, as well as in Kalbajar, Gubadli, Fizuli, Tartar, Hadrut and Zangilan districts at the expense of 70,000 manats collected during the aid campaigns in which BEU employees and graduates closely took part.
Along with our soldiers, "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" group visited the families of veterans and martyrs during the week and tried to meet their needs. At the same time, they were contacted by the relevant government agencies to solve a number of problems. Over the weekend, visits were organized to help the liberated areas and soldiers.
In addition, at the initiative of BEU employees, a campaign has been launched to build a house for a homeless family living in a carriage, and construction work is already underway at the expense of the funds raised.
