Baku Engineering University (BEU) has been represented at the “Study in Azerbaijan” educational exhibition held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition, in which the BEU delegation participated, was organized within the framework of the visit of the Ministry of Science and Education and the leadership of higher education institutions to Uzbekistan in order to expand cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the field of science and higher education.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Idris Isayev, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan Shahrukh Daliyev, as well as other officials, got acquainted with the BEU stand. Visitors to the stand were informed about modern specialties taught at the university, as well as provided with comprehensive information on scholarship programs and student life, and opportunities created for foreign students.

It should be noted that the exhibition, which is one of the important steps taken towards the implementation of the tasks stipulated in the protocol of the 13th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, aims to strengthen intercultural relations, promote student exchange and increase the number of foreign students studying in our country.
