The delegation of Baku Engineering University (BEU) visiting the Republic of Korea has visited the embassy of Azerbaijan in this country.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ramin Hasanov expressed his satisfaction with welcoming the BEU delegation as the first guest in the newly commissioned building of the embassy. He also drew attention to the importance of cooperation in the field of education with the Republic of Korea, one of the leading countries in the world. The Ambassador noted that regular meetings are held with 83 students currently studying in this country within the framework of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between BEU and Inha University of Korea, emphasizing that he is always interested in their daily concerns.

Rector Yagub Piriyev mentioned the importance of the “State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System for 2019-2023”, approved by the relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev. Providing information about the BEU-INHA DDP implemented in accordance with the program, the rector expressed his gratitude for the attention shown to DDP students who are continuing their final year of education in Korea.

Other issues of interest were discussed at the meeting.
