The next exam session continues at Baku Engineering University (BEU). Rector, Professor Havar Mammadov watched the online exams.
Professor Havar Mammadov reminded that distance learning at BEU was organized in accordance with the situation created by the current coronavirus pandemic. The rector stressed the successful results of the policy pursued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to prevent the pandemic.
The rector noted that all technical measures were taken at a high level in order to hold the spring exam session in a transparent and in accordance with existing rules. He added that in preparation for the exam session, the University's Distance Education and Quality Assurance Center (DTC) also carried out a number of relevant activities. The electronic control mechanism that makes each of the semester exams available for control was further improved and completed. In addition, a "virtual controller" mechanism was developed and put into operation.
Rector Havar Mammadov praised the fact that students felt free, despite the control over the exams. Expressing confidence that the students' knowledge would be evaluated objectively and impartially, the rector wished success to all students participating in the exam.
In addition, a number of video guides for teachers and students were prepared and posted on the Distance Education and Quality Assurance Center’s Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFzpzhSZWHmzkc5JlD3auxA) in order to prevent problems in exams.
It should be noted that during the session, the university's DEQA Center regularly monitors the exams online. The center also continues to provide the necessary technical support to teachers and students.
