BEU Rector meets with teachers awarded by relevant Order of President

A meeting has been held with the teachers of Baku Engineering University (BEU), who are on the list of awarded educators according to the Order of the President of Azerbaijan dated October 4, 2022.

Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov emphasized the importance of awarding the teachers of the higher education institution with the "Taraggi" medal in accordance with the relevant Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev. Havar Mammadov stated that the work of science and education workers was always highly valued by the state. Noting that the President of Azerbaijan always paid special attention to this field, the Rector touched on the responsibilities, obligations and duties of teachers.

The Rector brought to attention the important measures implemented in recent years in the field of further development and modernization of the national education system, strengthening the worthy place and position of education workers in the society, as well as reliable provision of their social protection system under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan.

Later, 3 employees of BEU who were awarded for their special achievements in the field of international and republican subject Olympiads and in the field of student training - Elshad Abdullayev, Dean of the Education Faculty, Etibar Seyidzada, senior lecturer of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies of the Faculty of Engineering, and Rashad Salimov, associate professor of the Department of Chemistry and Biology, expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the award.

Emphasizing that this value was a stimulating factor in the direction of the development of their future activities, BEU employees pointed out that they ould try to cope with the tasks set before them and justify the trust.

At the end of the meeting, the rector presented gifts to all three employees and wished them success in their future activities.
