BEU Rector has met with representatives of the international company
Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Professor Havar Mammadov met with Marco Emadi, founder of PL Concultancy, an international company that gave trainings at the University as part of the “Business Trainings” program, and Peter Sewell, an Australian trainer.
The Rector informed the guests about the activities of the University, the specialties taught, the material and technical base created in accordance with modern standards. Speaking of the rapid growth of information technology in modern era, H.Mammadov stressed that our country made remarkable achievements in this field under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The rector also touched upon the measures taken at BEU on IT.
Marco Emadi thanked for the warm welcome and spoke about the activities of the organization he represents. He said that the company was established in the Netherlands for the first time and its main goal was to provide training at the international level. The guest also said he was interested in student exchange.
Later, the prospects of future cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
The two-day and business-oriented trainings at BEU called "Building High Performance Teams", "The influence of Worldviews", "Emotional Intelligence for Leadership" are aimed at improving students' leadership skills, working on their weaknesses and developing their skills. The trainings are conducted in English and in the form of discussions, as well as interactive competitions are held. The trainings are organized by International Relations and Project Management Department of BEU, with the support of PLConsultancy international company and the Multiculturalism Club.
