Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Yagub Piriyev has met with representatives of the Global Education Project Group of INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South).

Welcoming the visiting delegation to our country for the purpose of monitoring the implementation status of the dual degree program (DDP) implemented between BEU and INHA University, the rector recalled the issues discussed at the last meeting of the Steering Committee for the program held in Korea. The Rector drew attention to the issues raised in the meetings with Cho Myeong Voo, Rector of INHA University, as well as students who are continuing the IV course of the program in Korea.

Noting the role and advantages of dual degree programs in professional preparation, training of new generation specialists who respond to the students of the modern labor market, the rector also emphasized the continuous work to be carried out to improve the quality of education in BEU-INHA DDP.

Min Kyung Jin, dean of the Project Group, also spoke about the importance of DDP and emphasized their interest in strengthening inter-university cooperation. The guest expressed that they are always happy to support Azerbaijani students who are currently continuing their last course of education in Korea within the framework of DDP.

Later, other members of the Monitoring Group shared their initial impressions about the exam organized at BEU to assess the knowledge of the students admitted to the program, and the interviews with BEU professors and teachers.

It should be noted that in addition to the dean of the Project Group, Min Kyung Jin, the delegation includes deputy dean Shim Sang Eun, professors Shin Paik Kyun, Yoon Kwang Sub, Oh Beom-Hoan, Shin Do Hyoung of İNHA University, employees of the university Mun Soo Hwan, Kim Yong Takes a thousand places.

The meeting continued with an exchange of views on various issues of mutual interest.
