Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU), professor Havar Mammadov has met with prof. Rachid Bennacer, International PhD Affairs Coordinator  at the University of Paris-Saclay, and Mohammed El Ganaoui, professor at the University of Lorraine.

Both guests are visiting our country to participate in the “13th International Conference on Thermal Engineering: Theory and Application”, co-organized by BEU and Ryerson University of Canada.

Rector Havar Mammadov gave detailed information about BEU, departments, international programs implemented. Noting the importance of the conference to be held for the first time in our country, the Rector stressed that Azerbaijan has undergone a strong development under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Emphasizing that Azerbaijan also succeeded in the application of innovative engineering, Havar Mammadov added that the scientific discussions to be held at the international conference, opinions and proposals were important.

Conveying their good impressions of our country, the guests expressed satisfaction with their visit to BEU.

The meeting provided detailed information about the conference. It was also mentioned that the participation of about 100 experts from Canada, the United States, France, Russia, Spain, Italy, Australia, Israel, as well as other Asian and European countries were expected in the international event. Furthermore, the decision of Organizing Committee of the "Conference of Materials and Energy" (http://www.icome.ecam-epmi.fr/), organized by the University of Lorraine, France, to participate in the conference (ICTEA) to be held at BEU was especially underlined.

Afterwards, opportunities for future cooperation among BEU and both universities were discussed at the meeting.
