Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Yagub Piriyev has met with the heads of student organizations and clubs operating at the higher educational institution.

Greeting the students, Yagub Piriyev emphasized the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev's constant attention and care for the youth. Furthermore, the Rector drew attention to the unparalleled work done by the wise statesman to educate a new generation with sound thinking, knowledge and strong patriotic feelings. Noting the various state programs, decrees and orders signed by President Ilham Aliyev, who has successfully implemented this policy, in the field of education and youth, the Rector added that as a result of the work done at the state level, an educated young and patriotic generation was grown up in Azerbaijan.

Advising the students to work more diligently and persistently in order to be formed according to the challenges of the new era, the Rector invited them to an open and active discussion.

At the meeting, students' opinions and proposals were heard in various directions, and some of the problems raised by them were solved on the spot. Tasks were given to the heads of the relevant structures to take necessary measures related to other issues.

During the discussion, the students expressed their gratitude for the attention shown to them and the friendly atmosphere created.

At the end, Yagub Piriyev emphasized the importance of strengthening the activities of the 20 student clubs and 4 student organizations currently existing at BEU, and introducing new projects and approaches.
