The next training (July 10 - August 18) will be held at Inha University of the Republic of Korea for professors and teachers of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The training will be attended by 16 members of the teaching staff of BEU, who are teaching Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. In this regard, the Rector of BEU, professor Havar Mammadov met with the teachers who will participate in the training.

Emphasizing the importance of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023", approved by the relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev, Havar Mammadov noted that the training is the main part of the dual degree program (DDP) implemented between BEU and Inha University of the Republic of Korea. said that it is one of the components.

Recalling the meetings of the Steering Committee held both in Korea and Baku within the framework of BEU-INHA DDP, the Rector, who drew attention to the results of the issues discussed there, added that the dual degree program contributed to the training of high-potential, successful specialists who have acquired modern knowledge and skills in engineering fields based on international experience.

It was noted at the event that the purpose of the training to be held in Incheon, Korea is to provide a special educational program for BEU professors and teachers based on the international educational cooperation project. One of the main goals of the training is for the teaching staff to further develop their knowledge and skills through the experienced professors of Inha University.

At the end of the meeting, the rector gave relevant recommendations to the teaching staff who will participate in the training and wished them success.

It should be recalled that the first 6-week training, which took place from July 11 to August 19 of last year, was attended by teachers who taught at BEU in the field of Information technologies.
