Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU), professor Havar Mammadov has observed the winter examination session of the autumn semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at the bachelor's and master's levels.
The Rector closely observed the process in the examination halls and had a sincere conversation with the students about the organization of the winter session. Havar Mammadov was interested in the opinions of the students regarding issuesç including the degree of difficulty of the exam questions, the level and quality of the lessons. Emphasizing the work done for fully objective, unbiased assessment of students' knowledge at BEU, the Rector gave his recommendations and wished the students success in the exams.
Later, Havar Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of the Headquarters and the Appeals Commission, created to monitor the course of the exam session, promptly investigate incoming complaints, code the answer sheets, and also carry out checking by teachers. It was stated that in order to organize the examination session transparently and according to the existing rules, all technical measures were taken in advance. The exam results are immediately uploaded into the Electronic Information System of BEU by subject teachers on the day of the exam. Every opportunity was created for students who were dissatisfied with the exam results to appeal to the Appeals Commission.
Note that the exam session will end on February 1. A total of 1402 exams are scheduled to be held during the session.
