Professor of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Doctor of Technical Sciences Islam Islamov has participated in panel meetings organized by “Azerenergy” OJSC within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

The meetings discussed topics covering the 3D principle (decarbonization, digitalization, decentralization) of the “Future Energy System - Azerbaijan Model”.

During the discussions, the issues of energy efficiency, transition to green energy, modernization of traditional generation capacities and efficiency achieved through innovative solutions, and reduction of greenhouse gases were highlighted.
