BEU participates in "Global Sustainable Development Congress" held in Bangkok

Baku Engineering University (BEU) participates in the "Global Sustainable Development Congress" held in Bangkok, the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand, on the initiative of the international rating agency "Times Higher Education" (THE). The higher education institution is represented at the congress by the vice-rector for international relations Atraba Gul and the head of the department of international cooperation and project management Narmin Alakbarova.

More than 3,000 global leaders and innovators from more than 100 countries of the world participated in discussions on "Sustainable development" at the event, which started on June 10.

BEU stand is displayed in the Azerbaijan pavilion within the framework of the congress. The stand contains complete information about the university (material and technical base, modern laboratories, taught specialties), events held at the university within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year".

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organization of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, the event was attended by Azerbaijani universities, as well as ADA University, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, Azerbaijan State Culture and Art University, Baku State University, Nakhchivan State University, Sumgayit State Yniversity also participate.

The event is expected to last until June 13.
