The 13th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition EduExpo has opened today at the Baku Expo Center.

      The opening ceremony was attended by Farah Aliyeva, Head of the Humanitarian Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Ziya Selcuk, Minister of National Education of Turkey, heads of educational institutions, representatives of various educational institutions and other guests.

      Speaking at the event, Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov said that since the signing of the “State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by President Ilham Aliyev, a number of important state documents have been adopted and projects have been implemented in the various sectors of education. Achievements were made owing to the efforts and contributions of educational institutions, educators, teachers and the community as a whole.

     J.Bayramov emphasized that more than 150 educational institutions from 22 countries attended the exhibition. Reforms and progress by the Ministry on educational development were reflected in various pavilions at the exhibition. The Minister of Education added that the exhibition would contribute to the development of mutual cooperation in the achievement of future goals, the implementation of new projects in the field of education and employment.

     Minister of National Education of Turkey Ziya Selcuk spoke about the warm and friendly relations between the two countries. Ziya Selcuk expressed his confidence that the visit would play an important role in the development of mutual cooperation in the field of education.

    Baku Engineering University(BEU) participates in the exhibition besides other educational institutions.

      The Rector of BEU, professor Havar Mammadov introduced the stand of BEU to Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Education, and Farah Aliyeva, Head of the Humanitarian Policy Department of the Presidential Administration. Presentations on engineering, international relations, architecture and construction, and other fields, as well as startup projects, products prepared in chemistry lab, videos reflecting the activities of the University, its foreign relations, and cooperation with the business world are demonstrated in the BEU stand. The projects presented at BEU stand aroused great interest.

      It should be noted that Education Exhibition is the largest international exhibition in the field of education in the country and in the region, gathering at its site leading domestic and foreign universities, educational centers, language courses and consulting companies in the field of education. 

      The 13th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition is open for the students in IX-XI classes, applicants, and their parents, as well as education workers.
