A scientific-methodical seminar on "Project-based teaching methods" has been held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Drawing attention to the subject of the seminar, the dean of the faculty Nasimi Kamalov spoke about the importance of project-based teaching methods in interdisciplinary integration, the results of using this methodology in teaching, which differs from the traditional education system, and the issues of building teacher- and student-oriented learning models according to new approaches.

Later, the report of assoc.prof. Murad Iskandarov entitled "Experience of using the project method in business education" was heard. In the report, problems and solutions in the effective organization of business education, the functionality of the project-based teaching model, the comparison of this model with the classic teaching model according to relevant criteria, including individual development programs, the importance and advantages of using practical learning materials containing theoretical knowledge, are given space.

Sharing his personal experience with the main principles of project-based learning, the associate professor said that these methods increase student activity throughout the teaching process, develop their independent thinking ability, and are a model that makes learning possible inside and outside the educational institution.

The seminar ended with discussions on the report.
