BEU organizes info session for students studying IT

An info session has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the organization of the Department of on work with enterprises and career on the introduction of the Information and Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA), its areas of activity, job opportunities created for students, and the summer internship program it organizes.

At the event, which was attended by students studying in the university's information technology (IT) specialties, Sarvan Jabrayilzade, an employee of the agency, provided detailed information about the ICTA, which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. At the same time, he drew attention to the main tasks of the ICTA, which acts as a regulatory body in the field of telecommunications and postal services.

During the session, students' opportunities for internships at the agency were discussed, including the recruitment process and successful participation in its interview stage. It was noted that in modern times, information and communication technologies are developing rapidly and the need to strengthen the human resource base in this field is increasing. The information sessions held by the agency at universities that provide highly qualified personnel to the labor market who are ready for innovations, capable of technological skills, and ready for technological institutions are also aimed at shaping the personnel potential for technological institutions.

The event continued with a question-and-answer session on issues of interest to students.
