Speaking at the event, the rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov stressed that the next page of the new glorious history of Azerbaijan was being written under the leadership of victorious Commander-in-Chief, president Ilham Aliyev. The rector said that despite the inhumane aggression of the enemy and various crimes against our civilian population, the Azerbaijani army was destroying the enemy, was successfully advancing and liberating our ancestral lands from occupation. Rector Havar Mammadov expressed confidence that the Azerbaijani army would successfully fulfill its mission and the territorial integrity of our country would be restored soon. He wished God's mercy for our heroic soldiers who died for the Motherland and healing to the wounded.

It was noted at the meeting that despite the significant strength and comprehensive provision of the material and technical base of the Azerbaijani Army, various companies, organizations, individuals and legal entities operating in the country, as well as the general public provide comprehensive support to the army and transfer funds to the Armed Forces Relief Fund. These steps taken in the current situation to support our Army for the sake of the integrity and security of the territory of Azerbaijan are very important.

At the event, a unanimous decision was made to transfer 50,000 manat to the the Armed Forces Relief Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
