The article of PhD.in Economics, assoc.prof. Shahriyar Mukhtarov, head of World Economy Department, and PhD.in Economics Elsever Ibadov, dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, has been published in “Journal of International Studies”.  The journal is indexed in the Scopus database with an impact factor of 1.10.

     The article entitled “The Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Exports in Jordan: An Empirical Analysis” investigated the impact of the foreign direct investment on exports in the case of Jordan, employing “ARDL”  cointegration approach to the data ranging from 1980 to 2018. Based on the results of the study, the role of foreign investment in Jordan"s export growth and sustainable development was discussed and a number of suggestions have been made in this regard.
