Senior lecturer of Social Sciences Department at Baku Engineering University, historian Arif Ibrahimov has been the guest of the program “Hərb tariximizdən”.

   During the program devoted to General Habib bey Salimov, Chief of General Staff and Documentation Department of Azerbaijani Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Democratic Department, the guests of the program spoke about his youth, studies, as well as his military operations.

   A.Ibrahimov gave information about the General’s activity in the formation of the armed forces of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. He also spoke about the struggle of Habib bey Salimov against the Molokan and Russian-Armenian forces who didn’t recognize the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in Mugan and Lankaran, as well as his unprecedented service in 12-day Askeran war.   

   It should be noted that associate professor of Baku State University Alamdar Shahverdiyev, historian-researcher Nazim Tapdig and employee of the Institute of Caucasus Studies of ANAS Kamal Salayev also participated in the program.
