Fuzuli Aliyev, senior lecturer of Finance Department of Baku Engineering University, PhD. in Economics, has done research within the framework of Fullbright Visiting Scholar Program at the UCF College of Business. During his research under the guidance of Professor Richard Ajayi, the Azerbaijani scientist familiarized with the activities of the University, the quality of education and made discussions with the academic staff. He also participated as a lecturer in the Corporate Finance classes and discussed the financial system of emerging markets with students. He also made presentations about Azerbaijan and BEU.

   As a result of his research, Fuzuli Aliyev completed a scholar paper on modelling volatility of NASDAQ-100 Index and submitted it to a prominent journal in the field.
