BEU journal included in international database "Scopus"

"Journal of Contemporary Applied Mathematics" edited by Professor Rakib Afandiyev, head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been included in the world's prestigious elmmetric database "Scopus" (https://journalcam.com/).

The entry of the magazine published by the mentioned department of BEU into the Scopus indexing database with a wide international audience is important not only in terms of the university's academic development and increasing the quality of research, but also in terms of the integration of Azerbaijani science into world science.

"Scopus" not only makes the articles in the journal accessible to a large readership, but also increases the chances of the articles to be cited more, and at the same time helps the journal and the research of the authors to be widely known. This scientific database is used by teachers, researchers, students and professionals around the world to research their scientific works, track citation statistics and find new scientific information.

It is important to emphasize that national scientific journals must meet the criteria required for inclusion in international scientific databases. This includes important criteria such as the journal's compliance with world standards, its publication in English, the editorial board, which is known both domestically and abroad, academic profile pages, representation of scientists with access to international scientific search systems, and the regularity of its publication.
