Article on the leading media website of the Republic of Korea (South) about the dual degree program (DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University (https://n.news.naver.com/article/020/0003533148?sid=102 ) has been published.

In the article, it was emphasized that INHA University, which created Korea's first university education export model, is currently implementing two projects on international education exchange with the aim of creating a "Korean Wave in Education". One of the mentioned projects is a dual degree program implemented jointly with Azerbaijan's Baku Engineering University.

The conditions of the dual degree program implemented by BEU and INHA University from 2020 on the basis of the "3+1" model are also mentioned in the article. It was stated that according to the curriculum officially approved in advance between the two higher education institutions, local students should study at BEU for three years, acquire Korean language skills along with their major, and after completing their studies at INHA University, receive degrees from both universities during the last year.

Moreover, it was emphasized that 386 students are studying in program specialties such as information technology, electronics engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering, 61 of them are currently continuing their fourth year at INHA University and will be the first graduates of the program next year. In the article, one of the 61 students named Aysel Hasanova had their opinions: "My university life is interesting and productive since I participated in many programs that allowed me to get acquainted not only with the quality teaching system, but also with Korean culture. I want to contribute to the development of relations between the two countries by working diligently during this 1 year.

At the end, it was brought to attention that the international educational cooperation project of INHA University was successful in Azerbaijan and that it is planned to expand the cooperation project in the long term.
