The international dual degree program implemented at the bachelor's degree between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of South Korea has been discussed in detail in the "Business Morning" program broadcast on ARB 24 TV channel.
Nijat Mammadli, head of the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Ministry of Education, who was a guest of the program, gave detailed information about the DDP. Speaking about the "State Program on increasing the international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023", N.Mammadli noted the dual degree programs implemented in Azerbaijani universities.
He said that BEU and INHA, one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea, have been implementing a dual degree program in engineering for the second year in a row. Nijat Mammadli stressed that the costs of applicants admitted to this program would be covered by the state and they will receive free education. Touching upon the advantages of the program, N.Mammadli noted that the training was carried out on the basis of the curriculum of INHA University, and Korean was taught intensively along with English.
The head of the department added that INHA University trained about 30 specialists in the field of engineering. He emphasized that the cooperation of experts from INHA and BEU in a number of areas would lead to the implementation of good research projects in the future.
