Students of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of Korea have achieved success in the international technology competition “EESTech Challenge 25-Electrical Circuits for Industry 4.0”.

The competition, jointly organized by “EESTEC JLC Baku”, the “STEAM Azerbaijan” project of the Ministry of Science and Education, INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, and the “One Volunteer” Student Organization, aims to provide an opportunity for students interested in technology, electronics, and industry 4.0 to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

The “AirVive” team (Nasib Ahmadov - “Electrical Engineering” major, 3rd year) and the “Torpedo” team (Ravan Jafarov, Sanan Muradkhanov, Elmin Mursalov - “Electronics Engineering” major, 3rd year)  including BEU-INHA DDP students won the 1st and the 3rd places, accordingly.

The “AirVive” team presented a smart system project that combines technology with improving air quality, reducing carbon emissions, and producing environmentally friendly biomass.

The “Torpedo” team’s “SmartHeat” project is a sand battery integrated with artificial intelligence that ensures completely environmentally friendly and long-term storage and use of energy from renewable energy sources.

The winning teams will represent Azerbaijan at the international final to be held in Trieste, Italy, on May 13-16.
