The students of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) conducted between Baku Engineering University and Inha University of the Republic of Korea won the "Unlock the Future" category at "JunctionX Baku 2024", one of Europe's largest hackathons.
The hackathon dedicated to the topic "Artificial intelligence in the green economy" is the first "Junction" hackathon organized by EESTEC Baku in the Caucasus with the support of the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education.
In the hackathon, which promotes technological innovations among young people, the "RQ Tech" team, consisting of Rauf Jalilov, Gurban Bannayev, second-year students of the "Information Technologies" Department of DDP, and Turkana Bagishova, a second-year student of the "Electronics Engineering" Department, was one of the 9 finalists.
BEU-INHA DDP students were awarded the 2nd place in the category "Artificial intelligence in reducing emissions" and the 5th place overall with the project called "0 Waste".
