Students of the dual diploma program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of the Republic of Korea participated in the event called “Azerbaijan Day” held at Beghak Elementary School in Incheon, the aforementioned country.
The educational and cultural event was held with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Embassy of our country in Seoul, the Faculty of Multiculturalism of INHA University, and the Incheon Department of Education.
The event, organized on the initiative of INHA University Professor Oh Yong Sob and the teacher of the higher education institution Leyla Masimli, provided information about Azerbaijan, as well as our culture, national costumes, and food to students of grades 1-3. Moreover, Azerbaijani fairy tales were sung and national souvenirs were displayed.
BEU students studying at INHA University in their final year as part of the dual diploma program - Nargiz Akhundova, Nijat Javadli, Nihad Maharramov (Information Technologies), Narmin Teymurlu, Sabina Alizadeh (Electronics Engineering), Shahana Miraliyeva, Khanim Mustafazadeh, Alsu Jabrayilova (Electrical Engineering), Malakkhanim Aliyeva, Ofeliya Feyzullayeva, Agahuseyn Huseynov, Sinara Guliyeva, Nazrin Huseynzadeh (Civil Engineering) - actively participated in the event. They performed songs on national musical instruments and also danced to the sounds of our music, adding a special color to the event. At the event, entertaining quizzes were organized among students based on the information presented about Azerbaijan, and the winners were awarded. The students were given souvenirs with logos and symbols related to Azerbaijan, sponsored by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
