A student of the dual diploma program (BEU-INHA DDP) in "Electronics Engineering" implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University, Gunay Nuruyeva, has worthily represented our country at the presentation ceremony of the "Book of Dede Korkut" epic held in South Korea.
During the event, the DDP student's performance, in which she conveyed our country's rich cultural heritage to a foreign audience by performing our national dance, was one of the most memorable parts of the ceremony. The dynamic and professional performance of the national dance not only attracted great interest from event participants but also generated high appreciation for Azerbaijani culture.
The next presentation of the book consisting of six chapters of the "Book of Dede Korkut" epic published in the local language in South Korea was realized through the joint organization of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Korea and the office of the Chairman of the Korea-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, as well as with the support of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund (ADDF).
At the event held at the building of this country's parliament, our ambassador to Korea Ramin Hasanov, the chairman of the interparliamentary friendship group Lee Man-hee, and ADDF Executive Director Akram Abdullayev delivered speeches.
The event was attended by deputies and staff of the Korean National Assembly, representatives of scientific and cultural circles and mass media, representatives of diplomatic missions operating in this country, as well as members of the Azerbaijani diaspora. The publication of the epic in the Korean language holds special significance in terms of wider recognition of Azerbaijani cultural heritage in the international arena.
