"QS Quacquarelli Symonds", an international analytical agency in the field of higher education and "QS World University Rankings", which compiles the ranking of the world's best universities, has published a new ranking of the best higher education institutions in Europe in 2024. In addition to Baku Engineering University, 7 universities of our country were included in the rating table.

Thus, in the ranking table of the best European universities, Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is ranked in 349, Khazar University in 372, Baku State University in 414, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University in 434, ADA University in 496, Azerbaijan Technical University and Baku Engineering University in the range of 551-600, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction in the range of 601+ (https://www.topuniversities.com/europe-university-rankings?&tab=indicators&countries=az)

688 higher education institutions from European countries were included in the new ranking.

The ranking was determined based on a total of 12 indicators, 5 of which are main and 7 are sub. This includes recognition in the academic and employer communities of universities, contribution to research, quality of the educational environment, internationalization, academic mobility and commitment to sustainable development, etc.
