BEU hosts tree-planting action as part of "Green World Solidarity Year"

A mass tree-planting action has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year".
BEU rector Yagub Piriyev, structural managers of the university, faculty and students participated in the action, aiming to improve the health of the ecosystem, the environment, increase greenery, and at the same time promote ecological culture and contribute to the fight against climate change.
During the campaign, more than 2,000 different types of trees were planted on the university territory in accordance with the nature, climate and relief of the Absheron peninsula.
