The next training has been held within the framework of cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Education Quality Assurance Agency (EQAA). The training attended by the structural managers of the university was dedicated to the topic "Building an effective internal monitoring system and determining evaluation criteria".
At the event, Sevil Imanova, head of the Quality Assurance Department of BEU, gave general information about the trainings organized so far and the next stages of such events.
Later, Shalala Mahmudova, senior consultant of the Agency's training and methodology department, noted the difference between the concepts of quality and quality assurance, as well as the main criteria for the monitoring and evaluation system in education, stakeholders for the creation of the system, and the goals of the quality framework, which included directions such as input, process and result.
The trainer discussed the tasks facing higher education institutions for the establishment of an effective internal monitoring system, determining the quality level, evaluating the effectiveness of the internal quality assurance system, as well as the influence of graduates on the formation of the reputation of higher education institutions, and etc.
The training ended with answering the questions of the participants.
Of note, according to the cooperation agreement between BEU and EQAA, until now, the university has hosted five trainings on "Rules for the accreditation of educational institutions", "Accreditation criteria", "Evaluation criteria for institutional accreditation", etc.
