Education Quality Assurance Agency (EQAA) has organized the next training at Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The heads of the units of BEU attended the training dedicated to "Accreditation criteria".
At the event, Sevil Imanova, head of the BEU Quality Assurance Department, emphasized that the trainings organized in cooperation with EQAA would continue, and the information obtained in these trainings was of great importance for the accreditation of the educational institution.
Later, Asiman Ilyasov, head of the Agency's training and methodology department, conducted training on the mentioned topic. The head of the department spoke about the preparation of the accreditation criteria, measures for evaluating the compliance of the educational institution's activities and the implementation of educational programs with the state educational standards, as well as the self-analysis report required for accreditation. He noted that the implementation of this process was based on 7 directions, 30 criteria and 271 indicators. Each of the directions required for accreditation such as strategic development, quality assurance, training and teaching, scientific research, management system, infrastructure, internationalization contains relevant criteria.
The trainer informed the participants in detail about the maximum points that must be collected according to the criteria, the impact of the assessment of these points on the accreditation process and other issues.
